Meet the Youth Ministries Department
 Monte TorkelsenDirector Monte is an Oregon native, having spent much of his elementary and high school years in the Portland area. After receiving his education at WWC and Andrews University, ministry opportunities took him to Milton-Freewater, Oregon and then Perth, Australia, where he served as Youth Director. Since 1993, his family has enjoyed living back in Oregon. His wife, Darla, is a speech therapist. They enjoy spending time with their three sons, Brandon, Chad and Trenton.

Tracy Wood
Tracy was born and raised in the Oregon Conference. He is a graduate of Meadow Glade Elementary School and Columbia Adventist Academy. After receiving his Bachelors Degree from Union College Tracy pastored for six years here in Oregon and then completed his Master's of Divinity at the Adventist Theological Seminary. His wife Angelina is the Risk Management Director for the Oregon Conference. They enjoy experiencing ministry together, doing outdoor activities, and spending time with their boys, Shelby and Kolby. |

 Connie AmesPathfinder Administrative Assistant Everyone knows that Connie Ames is the "Pathfinder" lady! She probably knows more about Pathfiders than anyone else in the conference. Connie attended Milo Academy, and received a 2-year degree in Office Administration from Walla Walla College. She has lived in Portland for years and enjoys baking, reading, and hiking. |
